Six steps to creating your exercise habit

We all know that exercise is good for us, but sometimes it’s hard to get started or to keep going. It’s important to create the habit of regular exercise. Sarah Bolitho has six steps to help:

  • Start where you are – build up slowly
  • Make it fun – choose something that you’ll enjoy
  • Stay consistent – work out at the same time each day
  • Get ready – set out your kit the evening before
  • Keep going – give it your all for at least three weeks
  • Be realistic – start small and progress slowly but regularly
